- Ribs and neck made from the same exquisite wood as the back – for a tonally homogeneous overall appearance
- Fingerboard made of the finest ebony, carefully crafted
- Varnish entirely in the tradition of the great Cremonese masters of the 17th century – includes a wood primer based on casein and calcium, as well as an amber-linseed oil varnish personally cooked by Klaus Heffler, which is colored with pigments and gives the instrument an authentic, historical varnish appearance
